Artist's Comments

I'm really proud of how this one turned out, so I'm very interested in what people think of it. I'm not going to give any info about what my intentions in it were, as usual, because I like people to come to their own conclusions.

It's kind of odd. I don't really get it at first glance.

I love it!
It seems to make sense to me. A lot of noises...

Makes me think of a power outage during a storm; all the little noises like the computer, the TV, and the air conditioner go away and you're left with silence. I'm also left thinking that you had trouble seeing the bowl when you had to go to the bathroom.

One of the first things I noticed was that the lightbulb head looked like a skull. It was only for a moment, but the filament gave it that look.

My favorite frames are the ones up at the top, because there are lots of things happening up there and there is lots of depth.

Ohh it's not your fault. It's not your mother's fault. Now...you pay attention to old Rooter. It is nobody's fault. The Great Circle of Life has begun. But you see, not all of us arrive together at the end.

What about at second glance? What about more than a glance, what about a real look at it?

Thanks for the fav.

Why couldn't the anarchist draw a straight line? Because he didn't have any rulers!

Thanks a lot. Glad you like it.

I can see that interpretation. There's something in the image that's in conflict with it, I think - the lightbulb guy is holding his plug, and still trying to flip the switch. Doesn't seem like a power-outage to me, more like some kind of disconnect. ;)

Thanks a lot for the fairly in-depth comments on my stuff, I always appreciate them.

Took a look at it. Makes a little more sense but not much

I'm glad to provide them, and I'm glad that you appreciate them. For a while I got the feeling that they were annoying. :-o Anyway, I enjoy your artwork. Keep it up! :D

Ok. I kind of wanted to find out what you thought about it, not whether it makes sense. I realize it doesn't make sense, that's the point.

What I'm looking for is what do you get out of it? What's it make you think of? What - if any - feelings are evoked from it?
